This second installment of “The Evidence of Providence” follows the author’s transition from qualified boilermaker to Mechanical Engineer in South Africa. After the passing of his mentor Paul T., he achieved an unprecedented academic milestone by completing three years of engineering coursework (N4, N5, N6) in a single calendar year at L.C. Johnson Technical College. Overcoming systemic racial prejudice, he went on to lecture, lead major engineering projects like the Mossgas offshore platform, solve critical design flaws in Angola’s oil sector, and navigate his journey with Parkinson’s disease through faith and writing.
