By nature, I’m gregarious and thrive on connections and conversations with others. While gainfully employed, I enjoyed connecting and conversing with colleagues, clients, or anyone I encountered in my day-to-day. Now that I’m retired, and navigating life with a bit more ‘swagger’ thanks to a stroke and Parkinson’s, I’m finding new ways to connect. My mind is still sharp, and my voice is strong, though my balance needs a crutch. I’m turning to the internet to connect with the world, all eight billion of you. I realize I’m being presumptuous, as barriers such as language, personal interests, and religion will always exist.
Beyond being gregarious, I’m a natural storyteller with many interests which I can’t wait to share. My passions include numismatics; I’m fascinated by, and collect coins from every corner of the globe, watching movies, and reading as well. I’m eager to share my stories and passions with you. Let’s chat, laugh, and maybe even ‘dance’ virtually. Please, no singing requests – the only note I can hold is currency. From my home in sunny South Africa to wherever you are, I’m excited to embark on this new journey with you.
